My daughter just turned two this month and as I was hunting for Birthday presents for her (and Christmas presents) I noticed it’s really hard to find things suitable for under 3s. Every toy, activity set and art supply seemed to be branded with the 3+ warning. Which leaves what? A cheque? No! So, I thought I would share with you some of my finds in case you, like me, also struggle to find things that aren’t 3+. Here is my Under 3 Christmas Gift Guide.

Since it is 2020, I want to support small and local businesses wherever I can. A lot of these items are from small businesses but I will include some Amazon items at the end if you need them in a rush. Supporting small is so important and something I hold very close to my heart, being a small business owner myself. This blog is one of my small businesses! I earn money from ads and affiliate links. Not to mention my blog’s shop! I sell T-shirts and tote bags made from 100% organic cotton and are 100% designed by me! I also have a Make-to-Order Cake business called Lottie Dot Cakes. This is where I sell occasion cakes, cupcakes and now Christmas Treat boxes.

How can I support you?

Support the blog.

You can do this in many ways, most of which won’t cost you a penny!
Share – probably the most simple! Share my blog on your socials. Send specific blog posts to your friends that you think they might find interesting. Share one of my social media posts. Every little helps.

Affiliate Links – these are links that I put into my blog posts that when you click on them and order something, I get a % of commission of what you spend without any extra cost to you! For example, you click on one of my Etsy links here and then order the item I have linked you to, I will get a small % of what you spend without costing you any more money than if you bought it normally.

My blog shop – Buy some of the merch I create! I spent hours finding the right company to team with, designing the items myself and then uploading and creating the website. All items are made from 100% organic cotton, printed here in the UK using machines powered by renewable energy and comes in plastic free packaging! Check it out here!

Order a Cake

If you live local to Bedfordshire, England, you can order a cake from me! Check out my Lottie Dot Cake Facebook Page to order and take a look at some of my previous work. You’ll also find all the offers I have on.

Under 3 Christmas Gift Guide

Emilia’s Curiosity Box

I have mentioned this company before but I can’t recommend them enough. Lauren is a good friend of mine and set up this business just 4 months ago after having her first baby, Emilia. Lauren makes bespoke crayons in various shapes, colours, letters and numbers. Perfect for little hands! She very kindly gifted Olivia a set of her personalised crayons and we have had hours of fun with them ever since.

She also makes lego, dinosaur and Christmas crayons! The perfect stocking filler for any age! Check out her Etsy shop here.

Hey Ray Bespoke

This company just do the most beautiful baby gifts I have ever seen! I wish I knew about them when I was expecting Olivia because their muslin cloths are to die for! They’re so pretty! I kind of want to get pregnant again just so I can do a huge order from them. Not only are they beautiful, but they personalise them for FREE!

My favourite thing that they do is the big muslins which I wish someone told me how useful they were. I, like most people, bought the multipacks of small muslins but the big ones were the most handy. They double up as lightweight blankets and sun shades in the summer but can also be breathable swaddle blankets. Check out their shop here!

Amy Lucy Designs

So many pretty things! I want them all! Amy does some wonderful gifts for all ages: Grandparents to newborns. However, it was this set I was particularly drawn to. This personalised First Christmas Gift Box includes: a personalised cuddly toy (penguin or reindeer), a body suit, a bauble and a personal message all wrapped up in a keepsake box!

Get yours here and check out her page for tons of other gifts like: personalised stockings, present sacks, mugs, Christmas eve boxes, family baubles, the list goes on!

Busy Puzzle

I love these personalised name puzzles. Not only are you teaching them solving skills with a puzzle but you are helping them recognise their name. Having to figure out what order the letters go will help them when they come to a preschool level and have to write their name. Plus they’re beautiful and inexpensive!
